Help Us Bring Holiday Meals to San Luis Valley Families

This year, the Community Foundation of the San Luis Valley and SLV Community Solutions are teaming up to bring hope to the table through Holiday Meal Certificates grocery or meal vouchers that will help families in need enjoy a special holiday meal without the financial burden. We are asking for your help to make that happen. 

 

Our Goal: We are raising funds now through December 1st, 2025 to distribute these certificates on December 18th.

We’re raising money now to make sure meal certificates go out in time for the holidays. Distribution Day is December 18th, 2025 but we need your help to get there.

These certificates will directly support:

• Families experiencing financial hardship

• Seniors raising grandchildren on fixed incomes

• Community members facing food insecurity this holiday season

 

Where Your Donations Will Go

As funds allow, we plan to distribute meal certificates in five key San Luis Valley communities:

 

• Monte Vista

• Saguache

• Fort Garland / Blanca

• San Luis

• Antonito

 

Distribution locations will depend on how much is raised in this campaign. The more money we raise, the more communities we can reach and the more families we can feed.

Every donation helps us expand our reach. For example:

• $25 can provide a meal certificate for a small family

• $50 can help a senior raising grandchildren enjoy a holiday dinner

• $100 can support multiple households in need
