At SLV Community Solutions, we believe real change starts with understanding. That’s why we conducted a comprehensive needs assessment in 2023—to better identify the gaps, strengths, and priorities in the San Luis Valley.

 What We Looked At:

 Our process included these key sources of insight:

1. Client Data from La Puente’s EmPower and HMIS systems, plus direct client feedback 

2. Recent Regional Studies on housing, transportation, food access, broadband, and homelessness (2022–2023) 

3. State and Federal Databases for broader social and economic trends 

4. Community Conversations with partners and local organizations 

5. Board Review bringing lived experience and systems-level analysis to the data
